You asked for the link to the interview, @avclub-4a51fda79bbd54b4e7327dd6559b6c4d:disqus, and so you shall have it…or, at least, the first part, anyway: http://jhdoucette.com/2012/…

Even I was surprised by that admission. I watched that show religiously as a kid…you know, in the Dark Ages. (By which I mean the '70s, of course.)

As the son of an American Flyer and Marklin enthusiast, rest assured that we always have to clarify which TCA we're talking about in family discussions.

Funny, I just sent out a Tweet about this a few minutes ago…

I pitched it to him personally after that interview, but no motion on that front yet, alas.

Very good chance that Forsythe could happen, thanks to him being in Fox's The Mob Doctor. Same w/ Zeljko Ivanek. We shall see…

@PatTablerIsMyHomeboy:disqus - I've had precisely one in-person encounter with Gandolfini, and he's one of those guys who I'd guess probably only has a publicist in order to keep journalists away from him. But I think if you could find a way to pitch it to him directly he'd probably be up for it, as the concept
