Mike Viola is a national treasure.

Mike Viola is a national treasure.

And she just Tweeted out the link to the interview. Be still my heart…because, y'know, she's still very pretty.

The minus was mostly for the dealership subplot. It was about as strong as it could've been, but it was still basically a reminder as to why we don't really miss the Frankie-at-work scenes despite the fact that there've been almost none this season. It's more or less the same schtick every time: the boss is sexist,

In my defense, I didn't pay for either of them. But I realize that's hardly an excuse for keeping them.

I do. God help me, I have Evil Toons on both VHS and DVD.

It's in there!

It's all up to him, though. The FX publicists are awesome, but all they can really do is wait for him to say "yea" or "nay," which he'll do in his own good time…or possibly not at all. We'll just have to see what happens.

Everyone think good thoughts: I'm trying to parlay a short but pleasant conversation with Sheen during the January TCA press tour into a Random Roles interview.

Which I had forgotten. That was pretty awesome.

I know this was a dream interview for Caelum, and he took the opportunity and ran with it. Hilarious stuff. Nice work, sir.

And you may already know this, but Bateman played Newhart's son in the short-lived CBS sitcom George & Leo. Not a great show, but that casting, at least in terms of their shared gift of comedic timing, was perfect.

I've tried to get an interview with Newhart for several years, well before I started writing for the AV Club, but he's always proven elusive. It's always a case of "check back in such-and-such amount of time," but then when I

(And it was a wise

@HobbesMkii:disqus  - Please don't tempt me into considering doing an Amos 'n' Andy piece, because I'd probably do it. There are some tremendous comedians in the cast of that TV series - stand up, please, Tim Moore - who never got their due.

It's literally in my last comment of the interview, when I note that he guest-starred in an episode of Psych.

Payback's a bitch, Cowboy. Now get your ass out of here…and tell your sister I said "hello."

Some troublemaker just Tweeted the link to the interview to Hein, saying, "Ted McGinley was talking about you and Jump the Shark. What do you think?" This ought to be good…
