House of Suns was bad enough to put me off Reynolds, probably forever. I just can't see reading another one.

This is getting into TNG Technical Manual territory, but I can't imagine Data's brain is so similar to a human brain that it can be affected by the same forces. Considering how delicate a brain is, how even a slight imbalance can affect it so dramatically, and how different the scale and operation of Data's brain has

That's every sci-fi space battle, period. At least in DS9 you get a sense that there's some sort of tactics involved beyond firing as many weapons as possible and seeing whose shields go down first. And there's speed to them, too. They play more like Star Wars battles, which is not a bad thing at all.

Well, Richelieu, you really only slog through a season and a half of it before it starts moving like a freight train. Also, season 5 is strictly optional.

The Game clearly demonstrates Riker can be possessed by alien ladies whose stupid faces are as ugly as a butt.

Who doesn't beam to work on Star Trek? Boring people, that's who.

I actually have come to love the 60s pop psychology in TOS. It really goes to interesting, insane places. Did you know that you can only make decisions with your evil half? It's true!

Eponymous: That'd be like a dude from the Civil War era becoming the CEO of Google.

Well, MNF eventually got desperate enough about their ratings to hire Dennis Miller.

Yeah, battle was a little harsh. Either way, I'm probably not gonna say anything new in a few weeks.

I'm not re-fighting that battle, Jesus.
