@avclub-f3fcbcfe1af47947c70881914ea2bdab:disqus : The Japanese version of Mario 3D Land refers to it as a "Tanuki," although the Japanese word for a raccoon *is* "tanuki," so perhaps with the new game they just went ahead and left it be?

We obviously need more info, but given what we know of the Observers shouldn't they have understood that "correcting" the past would only splinter off into another universe? With you 100% on this sentiment. This show will be sorely missed in my home next year. Still, it makes me wonder how I might see The X-Files—just to name the first thing that pops into my head—had it ended after its 4th season, or at least before it got so in-over-its-head and crazy. Fringe is ending on its own terms,

I think that's a pretty rotten sentiment.

If you have to ask, you'll die alone.

I liked all the IJ movies, and I'll keep saying that until the day I die, probably from being lynched by an angry mob of IJ4 haters.
