As someone who has worked a lot in suicide prevention, I must point out my strong distaste for this show from what I've read of summaries. The biggest "cause" of suicide is normalization, even among LGBTQ+ youth. Now I'm certain that very terrible things happened to the victim in this story, but it's still morally -

That's not fair to Stroma who was great in unReal….it's a pretty fair representation of Josh Bowman, but he was better suited to this.

Josh Bowman was better in this than he ever was in Revenge. He and Freddie Stroma were actually quite good for an absolutely wretched show.

I agreed with the decision to kill off Michael (even if skeptical of the three year time jump). I just wish the show did it with a better of idea of how to evolve the other characters to fill the narrative space Michael filled on the canvas. Now I'm just waiting for Jane's next love interest which shouldn't be how

Disagree. Just off the top of my head (assuming we're limiting to handsome white actors) - Glen Powell or Parker Young, who I mentioned last week, would have been considerably better. Even Derek Theler or Alan Ritchson could've gotten more out of this role.
Basically, just steal the audition list for Shazam.

I'm not worried about the "high octane action" part. More concerning "international co-productions" which is code word for cheap.

This is all good news until you remember Tyler Perry came out with a comedy last year.

Parker Young would even be better because he fits the vibe the show's going for with lovable dolt.

You'd think (screen)writers would be particularly aware of this. There's nothing a professional writer likes less than some rando saying "I think I have a book/show/movie in me."

Season Premiere of Baby Daddy's 6th Season tonight. In a couple months, it will hit 100 episodes - a sure sign of the apocalypse.

I would say the show does an okayish job of H.G. Wells. The utopianism is pretty prevalent. His disappointment in the 21st Century commercialism is pretty clear. Obviously, the real HG Wells didn't look like Freddie Stroma, but can't win that battle.

Love Reese Witherspoon's performance, but I think I've had enough of exposition through police interview to last a lifetime.

I guess you're right because of Weevil, but they were never really suspects in Lily's cri. I was thinking more about the Fighting Fitzpatricks in S2, who never made much of an impression.

The parents on this show are terrible, even when it's unintentional.

Even though they called out the fact that Grundy/Archie separated him from everything else, you still had Archie needlessly separated from the rest of the plot for four episodes. And color me skeptical about the biker gang. If Veronica Mars couldn't pull it off…

Right, unless I've been forgetting something. Lena's been very oblique about her feelings towards her brother. I assume that's purposeful.

Yes, Rose is criminally responsible for Michael's death.

I wish we saw more of Leslie Bibb too.

If we can make Moose a short bisexual for TV, certainly we can write Archie compelling storylines.

I agree with some of your points. And last episode addressed them a bit where she realized she needed to think less of herself and more about how her family feels.
