Eh, you would've been off your game if two people teleported onto your boat.
Was it just me or did Daario have a new accent? Maybe Ed Skrein is coming back daytime soap-style.
Old dogs, children, and watermelon wine.
My question - how much of an idiot is Roose to realize just now that letting his bastard torture the heir to Iron Islands and rape the heiress to the North might be a bad idea.
So the uninteresting characters killed the interesting ones in Dorne? Bold move.
He was good in the criminally underrated The DUFF.
The last two episodes of Damien have been much better because they finally realized their main character should be doing stuff, and Barbara Hershey is a hoot.
As a recommendation, I would watch the first five episodes On Demand fastforwarding when Hershey's character isn't on screen, and then start at 6.
If you were going to #slatetake a recent bomb, I would've went with The Lone Ranger which international, particularly French, critics loved.
This documentary is the definition of harrowing. I watched it alone, and when the "twist" occurred, I literally looked side to side to see if my non-existent couchmates saw the same thing.
Hard To Bare would be a great name for a strip club.
I agree the deck stacking was too much this episode. I wonder if it would've been different if Mesa Verde was a more (and harder hit by the "mistake") sympathetic victim. It would emphasize the service aspect of being a lawyer that Chuck's trying to protect.

Old Barker went from cantankerous old coot to not wanting to be there sometime around 2003. It was time for a change. Just not to Drew Carey. Wonderful person, just not right for the job and one of Les Moonves's rare missteps.
Carey's major problems are that he indulges the contestants too much and he lacks an ability…
Given that they aren't really training people to be emcees anymore, it's somewhat inevitable.
Scorsese will get nominated, but the show has so little buzz that Cannavale won't get nominated. Golden Globes maybe.
The ratings are already low. I think it's Bravo doubling down on its commitment to scripted shows. They seem to be dangerously unconcerned with the audience, though.
Soap opera boards genuinely make me rethink my positions on plots/characters/themes because the people who agree with me are so stupid.
