Every profession has a bell curve in quality. It's just that some professions have louder microphones.

Higher education has long passed religion as the best racket going.

I get your point, but IMO the abusive storyline was paralleled with the fear of LaTech and later emphasized with the bus ticket. Even still, I'm not sure badass McGuyver emphasizes a survive at all costs cockroach to heroine arc, which would be a very good character arc to pull off (like one of my favorite movies,

That scene was weird. The whole character arc is about her turning from coward to hero, and you undermine it about 15 minutes in.

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. It exposes the book as simplistic and silly.

See, I felt the opposite. What bothered me was the twist that Howard was a killer. It seemed designed just for another escape. I would've preferred if there were some innocent explanation for the "Help" message in true Twilight Zone fashion.

I loved this episode, but I agree with the mechanic - Bring back Kato.

My understanding is that there are two separate episodes of WWHL. So if you want to see Tina Fey and Kim Barker while avoiding Kim Richards (as you should), feel free to watch at 11.

One redeeming value was the rottweilers. I definitely want pet dogs that take care of themselves.

The scene with Barbara Hershey was good and should be a model for the series. Bradley James skillset is being charismatic and charming. Why not use that, and have Hershey's character play bad cop? No actor can pull off looking pained into the middle distance as much as James was forced to to this episode. The scene

The show has some interesting themes about the nature of good and evil, but it all happens to Damien. Good writing is the opposite, Damien's choices should create the thematic questions. A character can be conflicted but not wavering.

    Some closely related ones:
Paige attempting (and successfully for six seconds) to kill Mike on Graceland.
Remi being written off Devious Maids.

    Relentlessly awful.

It can't be any worse than the first season.

They're trying to recast Jamie Dornan without actually recasting Jamie Dornan.

The show never really expanded the idea of its main character becoming an escort. If you're going to have a bonkers premise, you have to embrace it.

Finally, room for my Silk Stalkings reboot.

I regularly laughed at the madam character's inability to sit.

I think there's less here than meets they eye. Hizdahr's confession is false, which doesn't matter because the show heavily implied already that the Mereen elite weren't behind the Sons of the Harpy - by killing Hizdahr.

Courtney B Vance is doing a fantastic job. One subtle scene I liked is his reaction when Robert Kardashian defended Nicole.
