I had no idea what to expect then, and was trying to prepare myself for every outcome. But I really, really thought one of the kids might die.

well I know a certain show that's ending soon, and Justified would be a nice way to fill the void (as much as it could be filled).
I'll be that dipshit. SPR had fantastic moments - all of the combat was groundbreaking, and heartbreaking. But there were giant, ridiculous holes of stupid and blatant emotional manipulation throughout as well, that made it…less than. Or maybe a better way to put it is that it was exactly the sum of its parts.
I also thought they were going to up and waste Jesse right there. I was bracing myself for it.
I just remembered a thread about, after we first met Todd and we were getting to know him, his first mentioning of Unkie Jack. And a lot of us - including me - thought he was trying to be a tough guy, or trying to increase his relevance, or maybe intimidate…but no one really took it seriously, as any big deal.
yeah, but when you're 18 with an alter ego you can roll with the punches.
I want to like this over and over
liked especially for the usage of "rummy"
b-b-b…bat…batman?
@avclub-76ac1a05475dbeb85054a41937875833:disqus mid-to-late 19th century actress is correct. Drama.
hey man, I'm not the one who originally misspelled it. I just perpetuated the ignorance. And in the end, isn't that the real truth?
Jane, I meant Jane, I was thinking of Sarah Bernhardt because…uh…drama. But thanks for not being an asshole about it.
comment without yet reading the recap, since I just finished watching: while this had one of the most horribly despicable moments I've ever seen on tv (the Jane admission), and the front end was loaded, I felt as I was watching it that it was one of the baldest and most transparent - in a bad way - eps I can…
Do it Dogy style!
It is…inevitable.
When I finally started watching Breaking Bad, a couple of years ago, I didn't realize until, like, season 2 who Walt was. It was niggling the edge of my mind that I knew him, and then OH MY GOD, THAT'S FUCKING HAL! Blew me away.
Do not try to plus the A; that's impossible. Only, try to realize the truth: there is no A. Then you will see it's not the A that pluss-es; it is only yourself.
Mexican Catholics, so who knows.
yeah, I was like "hey, good job Walt, they got what they needed on tape" and hung up.
I agree that this would be the worst possible outcome for him.
