Well, how much do we expect our Hand of the King to take? Aerys could have gotten away with refusing to marry Rhaegar to Cersi and with putting Jamie on the Kingsguard. He couldn't get away with doing both in a flagrantly dickish manner.

One rumor about show Jeyne is that they'll name her Jeyne Lannister for simplicity's sake and have her be some kind of shirttail cousin to Tywin.

Because they don't want to cast someone who would then mostly disappear for two seasons as Damphair. Or because they plan to cut him out of the show and simplify the Iron Islands story line from Feast when it shows up on screen.

It's believable because of what everyone else says.

The problem is that the way they staged it, Arya and Gendry don't seem to make much of an attempt to run for it, so it makes them seem a little dumb for not booking as soon as Yoren gets killed, or before.

I'm not sure how ugly in the face Brienne is really supposed to be. Everyone calls her ugly and unnatural, but I could easily imagine that being more a function of her size and being a knight than her actual face.

@Dikachu:disqus That would actually be pretty accurate to the books. They increased everyone's age by between 4 and 15 years for the TV show in deference to modern sensibilities. Martin was either writing things toward how old people would have been in medievel times or is a something of a perve.

I'd bet money that Penn Jillette's funeral will feature boobs. So, it's not inappropriate.

Books Four and Five were certainly not as good as Storm of Swords, but what the fuck is as good as Storm of Swords? Both had just classic stuff in them that I wouldn't want to have the series without.
