"Last of the Mohicans" is the same as "Heat," great looking, with action scenes surrounded by a lot of nonsense and "Braveheart" level history. But Madeline Stowe in Georgian dresses is more look-at-able than anything or anyone in "Heat." And Wes Studi and Daniel Day-Lewis are insanely good.

Andrew O'Hehir…
…from Salon said this was "the 'Showgirls' of fairy tale movies" which kinda makes me want to see it.

Simon's jury nullification system won't solve the problem, but it will cause some chaos and disorder in the court system, which might force the powers that be to care. I'm on board.

Mayer was funny
once when his response to some TMZer filming him on the street was to start talking into his cellphone describing a painful rash on his dick.

Given the breadth of what women who are considered "black" look like, there's no goddamn way any straight man doesn't want to sleep with a decent number of them. Hence, when someone says something so illogical, people try to come up with a logical reason he'd have said something that's so obviously foolish and not

Given that Apatow's idea of "grunge" in the interview was Silverchair, I think he had something different in mind than Cameron Crowe did.

I choose to believe that Dave "Gruber" Allen was REALLY responsible for the series, because I like him best.

First para is supposed to be a quote.

Season 1 was really boring, not worth checking out. The other problem is that the show mostly depicts native New Orleans residents in positive terms as suffering angels while making outsiders look ignorant, etc. I have family that live in New Orleans, and while its is fun it always struck me as a really provincial

I'm now hearing every ZMF post in Bale's stupid Batman voice.

"'Hurt Locker' was a disappointingly standard-issue action movie elevated by stylish direction."

I'm old and I liked it. I thought it was sort of an old person's idea of a teen movie and that's why I liked it.

Matt Damon…
…in "Eurotrip." The movie was funnier than it had a right to be, but Damon killed in his cameo. For the piercings alone.

So, who's higher on the faux Jack Black casting phone tree, this guy or Tyler Labine?

So improbable two famous people have had it?

Fictional stories could still be historically inaccurate, ie. I remember some historian saying about Michael Mann's version of "Last of the Mohicans" something like:

That college football looses money thing is a canard. They play a lot of games with moving money here and there.

Hating Ken Jennings is like hating puppies. Or Wil Wheaton.

Salon.com published a piece years ago arguing that the national anthem should immediately be changed to "If There's Hell Below(We're All Gonna Go)" by Curtis Mayfield. The argument was that America could do with more funk guitar before its high school basketball games, I think.

"Stay Tuned," which is hilarious in my 20 year old memories.
