Nonsense. Blue Velvet probably saved Pabst Blue Ribbon.

This is the first episode where I really hated Don. Hypocrisy really brothers me, so now Peter almost seems more sympathetic.
I think the only great bit I saw on the Ben Show is the send-up of the Don't Text commercials with the guy sitting in the wheelchair who is completely fine, just a douche.
My favorite moment was how everyone acted way over the top to declare the hamburger wasn't the best in L.A. so they could get the $100. When he asks that old lady who spits the hamburger out if she wants an Academy Award or $100 and she blurts out "One hundred dollars" in such a pathetic, slurred, but still very…
Yikes, I think Girls has a Todd VanderWerff problem.
Someone get Vanderwerff on the phone. He'd do it for free.
I paid $5. Comics are so expensive now and are so very thin, so while 5 is steep I considered that 32 pages is a great deal of pages. I also wanted the creators to have great success right for the start.
To me it's still a comedy of sorts, in the same way you laugh with/at/with your friends, even though they aren't doing something sitcommy funny. If you know your friends well enough, you don't need the dishwasher to overflow the kitchen with bubbles to have a laugh. The laughs come from subtle things, like how they…
It was the context, and then the shot of Ray just looking miserable on that bed, which made him look like a sad caged monkey of sorts.
I relate to him the most also, which sort of depresses me. But Todd RT Allison Brie saying she identifies with Ray the most also, so I guess that means Allison Brie and I are the same, and thus I have a shot of hooking up with her.
I was more worried about Adam's relationship with Natalia and Hannah being able to figure out something for her book. Actually, I was very invested in both of their story lines. When they rejoined in the end I didn't really care. It was alright, but not a big finale ending for me, I love this show, but the Hannah/Adam…
So, you just watch The Americans?
Actually, Marnie's self destruction was favorite arc/storyline until this season finale corny ass resolution that has her and Charlie happily ever after. I am like Ray in that I hate bows and ribbons, especially in plots and stories.
I will miss Ray, though Shoshanna's decision to break up with him was the best scene about this episode, if not the season. That storyline was my favorite. Shoshanna almost comes off as a caricature, so she really catches you off guard, Her arc was the best thing about this season. Great when you can understand…
Kill Zone! That one terrified me with the woman aging like crazy at the end. Sort of like the rapod aging in Beeltejuice was freaky. And also, MY WIFE!
This is the first great show of Kenneth-era NBC.
I asked the AV Club this in an email once and got a snotty response from Tasha Robisnson that it was their job to consume all entertainment and thus the question was moot.
For all the people who say stuff didn't make sense but the show had great laughs, degrading sex sure does sound like a barrel of laughs.
Didn't The Big Lebowski come out mid-winter? Or at least some Coen films (which are all treasure).
There was a great Comedy Bang Bang during the election where Bkb Odenkirk was the leader of a Capitol Steps type group. The bit was hilarious and answers the proposed question with a resounding no.
