I have no idea what point you're trying to make here, but I fear it's not really related to what we're talking about.

One Direction built their whole career on teenage girls shipping them with each other. Gay YouTubers have millions of teenage fans nowadays. The girl you know is the exception, not the rule. Teenage girls fetishize cute gay guys. It's a whole problem in itself.
And sorry, we are not here to introduce the concept of

Well, we can't do everything for you.

Yeah, that interview was tailor-made for a Newswire. I was surprised when it didn't show up here.

Well, yes, gay community is ultimately shallow, nobody argues against that. But maybe we can at least fix the worshipping of straight guys and the constant need to appear "straight-acting".

- got Thomas Decker out of an ambiguously gay role in Heroes when he was up for the role of John Connor

Appreciation is not idolizing. Look at hot guys as much as you want - I know I do - but don't act as if they're God's gift to the gay community just because they went to the gym.

I don't know if you mean his comments about Haynes or the unnamed guest star, but in Haynes' case he wasn't angry about Haynes' late coming out but about HOW he came out, as if there's only one right way. In the latter case he practising wanted to force the other guy to label himself as gay.
I'm definitely not pissed

Haynes should have just ignored the whole thing, yeah, but his reaction doesn't excuse what Galvin initially said.

This short comment is a better review of the movie than the actual review.

Yeah, I just watched it and gave it a B. I don't get Jesse's review at all, it seems like he thought it was a satire which it wasn't. I wouldn't even call it a comedy.

I like Damon, but that made me laugh. I owe you an upvote.

You're right, passive-aggressively shaming the trolls instead of just ignoring them is the adult thing to do.

I'm all for giving dogs extra screen time, so yes, the additional eavesdropping is absolutely necessary.

All fourteen of them!

It's important to add that no one really cared about the Singer-stuff in the interview. I followed the reactions closely that day, and the Singer-remark was almost universally applauded. All the other stuff in the interview was the problem.

Well, just saying you're okay with the gays shouldn't be enough anymore to deserve that pat, I agree. But there are some people out there who do more and I'm okay with them ending up on magazine titles. But yes, we definitely do need more openly queer A-list celebrities. I'm glad about every single B-and C-lister we

I'm not sure what was worse on Twitter yesterday, people openly discussing Bloom's penis size, or the guys and girls being openly disappointed in it (WTF?).

My first comment is in moderation-hell for quoting Galvin, so sorry if this double-posts:
