That movie is so underrated. I feel like a lot of people simply refuse to engage with it because it's an old-fashioned epic about a horse.

The moment when Angel doesn't stop the murderous cult and instead just gives them a victim for next month was when I gave up on him. I couldn't even recognize the show anymore.

Speaking of, I can't believe you've been working there for ten months now. Where did the time go?

Thanks for reminding me that I still need to watch Mustang! I was entertained by Hail Caesar, but I wouldn't call it exactly good. The film skipped over the entire second act when we watched it, so we first missed 40 minutes and didn't notice until the end which is probably a sign that the plot didn't really matter.

Those are some really low-hanging nipples then.

I don't know why, but I'm really harsh on films this year. Has it been that bad a year so far or did I miss some great movies?

Is Mr. Robot a poor representation of hacking? I don't know anything about hacking or programming, but I remember the show getting a lot of praise from coders and other IT people for its technical realism.

The Encore showings are recordings of older live performances.

Wasn't that the mid-90s movie classic Hackers and not just some random CSI-style show? I think they weren't laughing about the techno jargon, but about that nothing in that movie resembles the reality of hacking.

My husband and I watched the original Criminal Justice all in one day. I can't even imagine having to watch it in weekly installments.

Buffy's "The Body"

I gladly would have watched a second season, but the ending of Family Tree is perfect.

Well, the thing is, no matter if Sulu is gay or straight, being gay has defined Takei for a lot of people for years already. I don't really think our perception of him will fundamentally change just because John Cho now has a husband in this movie. But better representation will help change people's perception of all

I'd watch it.

Interesting. Will it be just her on the stage with the voice of that man over the speakers?

Right now they are in my Top 5 as well, but I really have seen only a handful of films this year that I loved. Most stuff I watched so far just left me cold.

I was at the edge of my seat for at least fifty minutes while watching Green Room. That was really some intense shit. The Witch almost seemed breezy after that one.

My younger brother is in town, so I can indulge in all those movies my husband doesn't want to watch with me. Friday night, we had a double feature of Green Room followed by The Witch. Green Room was great. I wasn't so sure about The Witch, but I liked it better the next day the more I thought about it (both movies,

I think Tintin, War Horse, Lincoln and Bridge of Spies are all great films, and I was surprised how timely Bridge of Spies felt to me, especially in the first half.
