Josef von Sternberg and Marlene Dietrich.

I agree with your general comment, but who underrates Academy Award-winning director Soderbergh?

I watched Chinatown once in film school and can live with never seeing it again. Not that I thought it was bad, but I don't know why I should ever rewatch it. There are thousands of also good movies by non-rapists that I haven't watched yet.

The Man In The high Castle's opening was very divise. I liked it though.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WHEN THAT HAPPENED!

Allred drew those credits himself.

It also always puts the lines "It's not where you come froooom, it's where you belooooong" in my head for at least three days.

The theme might be one of my favorite themes ever, but the title sequence is not that outstanding. It does a good job introducing the characters and the premise, but does it in a generic clip show fashion like lots of other shows.

I really hated Nurse Jackie's nanananananana.

She had style, she had flair - she was there - and so she became the Nanny!

I never skipped them, they often were the only good ninety seconds of the episode.

At least Arrow often plays around with its title card.

Wander Over Yonder's title sequence is fantastic, and encapsulates the show perfectly.
I also like Star vs. the Forces of Evil's opening a lot.

Good call on Les Revenants, but to be honest, even though I watched and loved Danger 5, I can't even remember its title sequence.

Oliver Sava said the exact same thing. I don't mind it, I like how the guitar practically intrudes the theme.

Okay, I'll be that guy: Fury Road was the first Mad Max-film I've ever seen so I have no emotional connection to Mel Gibson's Max. Might Fury Road have been better for me with another actor? Maybe, though it's hard to say what any other actor could have brought to the role that Hardy hasn't done. Might it have been

I'm so happy you didn't spontaneously combust when you saw the headline!

My best friend recently told me he watched E.T. with a few kids and they were all bored to tears, including him. He said it hasn't aged well.
He also hated Fury Road. He might just not have the best taste in films.

I do. Well, not actually hate, that would be silly. I just don't care for it at all.
