I was listening to Medulla the other day and my exact thoughts were, "This is a much better album than I give it credit for." But then I'll still go on and forget about it a week later. I think I eventually need to spend more time with it.

Oh, and I'll recommend Moon Honey's debut, "Hand-Painted Dream Photographs". It's basically "Ys" as a psychedelic rock album.

Ys is probably my favorite album so that's likely why I'm so receptive to this album and don't find it hookless or meandering at all. It took me years to like Ys, but once it clicked, I was enraptured.

The difference with Bella was that she was kind of a standalone character. When looking up her name I saw what episodes she was in and doesn't appear for the rest of the season. Hooray! Having no information means enjoying something that you can't! This and Into The Woods tells me that ignorance truly is bliss. But that definitely adds context and I'm glad we'll hopefully be seeing some of these characters again.
