I'll get to Madoka tomorrow, and I know this is off topic, but I was wondering if you ever wanted to write creatively. I know you enjoy writing critically and there's probably a good overlap, but I'm curious about what your goals are for writing. My goal is to eventually be a show runner, though that is easily years

I knew about Vicky's death. When my roommate showed me the first episode and wasn't convinced I was going to watch more, she told me about it. The only surprising thing about it was when it happened as she told me it happened about midway through the season, which this doesn't feel like yet. I agree that she was

Agreed. It's the true beginning of the series.

I kind of hate flashbacks and while period pieces don't all bug me, there are 2 eras they pretty much all take place in and those are eras I care not one bit about. Again, the only thing I found interesting was the witch hint about Bonnie's ancestor.

Was definitely vervain. And nope. I stayed up until 3 in the morning Saturday night (interesting phrasing, but whatever.) just to finish episode 7 since you said that it'd be better that way. And it was. I ended up having a strange dream about marrying a god and the other gods complaining about how they were

He didn't lose his powers, exactly. He ate some flowers that were in Caroline's blood cause Stefan thinks he's a silent badass judging by his smirk and the flowers fucked with his power levels.

I'm sorry I started The Vampire Diaries and distracted you. I take full responsibility.

It's been so great, and everything centered around Louise fills me with joy. Those pictures of her and Victoria are amazing.

It was killed when Damon lost his powers for a bit and I cried and then thought about how happy you'd probably be to see it dead and then I realized viewers like you (fuck you, PBS) are the reason it went away and maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore. I'm so sad the crow is dead and now Bonnie is being sidelined

By "the" window, I mean Elena's window.

MAYBE HE IS THE CROW. Except he's not, because it's in the room at the same time as him, but the third episode it shows up in the window. It's kind of hilarious. I'm gonna miss that crow. :(

Episode 3: In which things get a lot better.

The crow was the best part! I kept waiting for Bonnie to crash the car as she wasn't looking at the road at all, but nope, dead crow THAT IS ACTUALLY STILL ALIVE. They really loved that crow in the second episode, too.

The noir episode was pure drug fueled character introspection, and used the sweeping romance side of it for the gay couple, which made for such an incredibly powerful moment. It's just not something you'd ever see. And it wasn't like one of them was playing a man's role. They were both stylized in clearly feminine

    :)

That's reassuring, actually. I was wondering why you were so enamored with it, but that makes a lot of sense. My roommate has spoiled a bit, so I know anyone who isn't white is a witch…until that's not true. I think Ian Somerhalder is going to annoy me for a bit because I can't get past his hair, which fits a

My roommate sat me down and forced me to watch the first episode of the Vampire Diaries. It was….interesting. I'll definitely be watching more, though the intense looks while transitioning to a scene where they're writing in their diary about their feelings was kind of unintentionally funny. I enjoy that, though. I

I've been trying to piece it together, though not as much as I could. I try to look for something new each time I watch it and I think that'll be my focus next time. It just seems odd. I should probably start with when Christianity was introduced in Japan, since I think it was more recent than not.

Here it is, from Episode 6 I believe:

I hope you eventually go back and watch the show from the start, not necessarily anytime soon, but in the future. I do suggest, however, going back to the first episode after watching episode 10 this weekend. I think the second watch of this show is a very different experience, though I agree with you on certain
