I'm a failure and/or the worst. I got a loooot of things I've been putting off done and watched both episodes, but was a complete failure about writing about Twice Shy. I decided I'd get drunk on Saturday and right about it, but ended up feeling really sick after like 2 sips of wine from other factors. (Mainly dust.

I'll have mine up when I finish the episode, but it will be today at some point. Sorry about how long it took me for the last one.

I started to write notes for this episode and then just got sucked into everything. I also watched it Monday night, so hopefully that explains why this is shorter than usual…if it's shorter than usual. I'm typing this before writing anything and my thoughts aren't as complete which is why I'm assuming it's gonna be a

I'm gonna try to post thoughts on my lunch break in an hour or so.

I made the strangest sound when Scorpy kissed Braca. It was supposed to be a knowing laugh and how finally I could talk about it, but I was caught off guard by Braca putting his hands on Scorpy's cheeks and looking into his eyes in such an affectionate way that I sort of choked at the same time. It was embarrassing,

John: My Grandmother used to say that life is - a great wheel. Sometimes it grinds you down into the mud - and other times it lifts you up into the light.
D'Argo: Are we strapped to this wheel?
John: That's a given. Point is - is that, most times you get a second chance. Just gotta wait for the wheel.

Ack, that sounds like a mess. I actually might take you up on your offer as watching the episode this time around gave me a lot to think about. I'll probably hold off on certain (beautiful) developments that I want to hear your take on first, though.

Victoria with a shotgun and crazy eyes. I have nothing else to say.

I read about that after I posted this last night. And I agree. There were a lot of story lines still hanging around with Molly being an Oracle whose songs were prophetic and Jack being a knight in a past life. Apparently that was going to connect back to Rebecca, which would have been amazing to see.

So it was Wayne Pygram? I had the hardest time figuring it out as sometimes he'd sound like Scorpius and sometimes he'd sound like Kent, and I honestly couldn't tell. It made for an interesting scene, though I suppose this entire episode was filled with interesting scenes

Is there any other answer than The Holy Mountain?

It was So Weird for me. It first introduced me to the concept of show mythologies and that sometimes networks get in the way of creative direction. After 2 seasons of a mostly adult audience, the Disney Channel replaced the main actress and got rid of all future storylines involving her. It's disappointing as the show

Each separately. No other way to do it. You'll understand.

Haha, I don't think John would go through with it either so I really don't know what the hell I was trying to express with that. That's what happens when I respond at night. I get little glimpses of something and then go with it. Is his name really Ho'Ock? Wow. No wonder he ended up so rapey.

Okami remains one of my favorite games and probably the only one I've bothered to buy all the rereleases for, as each offered something unique. I love that the HD version allowed heavy filter again. I still think the PS2 version has some of the best visuals and I love the muted palette for it. The wii controls could

The gameplay of El Shaddai was such a disappointment, but I still thought it was worth it. Some of the music and settings combined to create these incredible images. My favorite was the platforming over the red city while some sort of celebration is going on. It's all so surreal and makes for something memorable, if

Sooooooooooooo, I really enjoyed Scorpius in this episode. It's no wonder he advanced so far in the Peacekeeper rank. I'm sure he's this way whenever he needs to prove his loyalty. He smartly took on the pain of both people, without actually ever absorbing it? I'm not entirely sure how that works, but I don't care

I'm back now. Sorry if you're asleep, but then you can respond tomorrow or something. Onto further thoughts.

I was very tired watching this episode, but I did still enjoy it. Like you say, I'm not very sure why so many people despise this episode. Sure, it maybe gives in to Farscape's wacky tendencies a bit too much, and none of the villains are that threatening and the mechanic doesn't look anything like a guy, but it's fun.

What'd you bring? I have a mollusk we could share if you're interested. (har har har)
