My notes were mostly useless this episode. It was me once again bitching at the makeup for the not quite humans, who I'd rather they just make as offshoots of Sebacean. I also noted how my Vertigo made the camerawork a very "engaging" experience.

I remember feeling the same way as you the first time I watched it. However, I appreciated this much more on rematch and liked Fractures a tad less. The restaurant is dumb, but it really allowed Rygel a chance to shine and we don't often get that as the show has become more focused on action and subtle character…

I can imagine. I don't think there's a perfect way to start Farscape. I mean, I love Premiere, but the momentum of that dissipates pretty quickly. It's a hard show to get anyone to watch, let alone to get to Season 3, which is when most would be hooked.
