Combat Rock
Steven, since you brought up music for combat, I thought I'd share my experience. This the playlist for my infantry battalion an hour to crossing the Kuwait-Iraq border back in March 2003 (on the 6th day of the war). This was playing on the Humvee with the giant speakers as we lined up the trucks and…

Just want to chime in that "The Yiddish Policeman's Union" is super excellent.
2 things:
Can't talk about male harmonies from the 80s without bringing up Def Leppard. I don't think there's a single song from Hysteria or Pyromania that didn't have huge harmonies in the chorus.
So glad this is being covered in TNCC. I know why I like ND, but I have no idea why anyone else does. ND is almost a documentary of growing up in the Mountain West in the early 90s.

I, too, was disappointed that the jewel thieves routine was left out. Wade + Jeannette = what's not to love?
I agree completely. Jeanine's performances this week were flawless. Brandon's solo was just a bit frantic, kind of samey (we've seen it from him before), and not nearly as good as his solo the week before. Board shorts? Jeanine's solo was cool, and beautiful, and new.
