"Boys of the Present Time"
"Boys of the Present Time"
Black Talker Teddy?
Yeah, there were several times I had to pause and rewind the episode I was laughing so hard. That always gets at least an A- from me.
No NFL preempting it, season six already ordered… I think Bob's Burgers is gonna be alllll right.
I found it inexplicable yet hilarious that Louise kept going back to the breast milk. I have no idea why she was so fixated on that. On the other hand, Linda : Gayle :: Catelyn : Lysa, pretty much, so it was doubly funny.
I loved how all of Gene's lyrics did, indeed, sound like they were written by a nine-year-old boy.
I think you can say both "different" and "families" with either two or three syllables.
I forgot to mention that Forte created the show, which of course makes perfect sense given he created so many characters for SNL and he's perfect for this one. That fact, though, seems like it makes the complaint make even less sense.
To be fair, that line in the review was pretty ridiculous of its own accord.
You would barely be able to go outside in the summer, but if you had reliable electricity I suppose that wouldn't matter.
I have one "celebrity (using that term loosely) was an asshole to me," but it was on Twitter, and I later confirmed that he's kind of an asshole to everybody, especially critics.
It means "I copy and pasted this comment multiple places and am stalking everything Caroline writes on this site to complain about her, probably because I am mentally ill."
And summers in northern California or maybe Colorado. (I guess without people, anywhere with reasonable temperatures, trees, and mountains would do.)
Wait, really? I lived with my sister for six months while she was living in Manlius. I think my niece went to high school there. (She is not a long distance runner.)
That was the moment the show signed its name across my heart.
I agree— to the point where I actually think my post is unnecessary, but I've never let that stop me before— and I hope Caroline reads this. I think "straight white male everyman" does a gross disservice to Forte. He's not goddamn Ryan Reynolds, and this isn't Generic Multicam About Couples Or Some Bullshit.
"He reached for my gun" certainly doesn't come from nowhere. It comes from a desire to "prove" the shooting was justified and in self-defense.
Fuck it, ask the cop what they would have done if it was a white male flouting an open carry law. They sure as fuck wouldn't have shot him. Isn't it weird no matter how many real guns white people carry and point at police officers, black males get shot at a much higher rate? Isn't it just a weird coincidence that…
I don't get how people can look at A TREMENDOUS AND SIGNIFICANT PATTERN OF COPS OVERREACTING TO KILL YOUNG BLACK MEN AND BLACK TEENAGERS and still come up with a justification and excuse for every single one.
I wouldn't say CNN is the opposite of Fox News. It's more like "the banality of evil" vs. "the active maliciousness of evil."
