Remember when that Oklahoma restaurant owner said he didn't want The Gays in his restaurant and his establishment started getting hundreds of Facebook and Yelp reviews praising it as a gay meat market?

Calling Sarah Palin "the middling steakhouse of people" is offensive. She's like the "local greasy-spoon burger shack with bad service and frequent bouts of salmonella who inexplicably convinced people for a while she was five-star dining of people."

Oh good, I was hoping this story was about some idiot self-important nutter-butter in Duh Heartland who never had a chance in hell of seeing one of those guys in his restaurant anyway.

Yeah… can anyone say this shows signs of being *not* funny?

That's not ectoplasm, it's diarrhea!

*hmm, this is interesting to read about, maybe I'll watch it la*♫♪IT MIGHT SEEM CRAZY WEARING STRIPES WITH PLAID♫♪

These ideas don't intrigue me at all!

And what you want is to be the first comment on every AV Club article? Talk about a failure of imagination.

"Cleveland Browns trade Super Bowl for second-round pick"

"Local Sportswriter Arrested For Public Indecency"

Archer is scripted word for word. The actors don't even read their lines together. Adam Reed edits it all together to get the pacing.

Yeah, Louise is more subtle and clever, cf. "Child Molester Burger" (comes with candy!)

It certainly must be #1 for worst title.

The style change could be a lot of it; I'm a big, unabashed power-pop fan and tend to be disappointed when my favorite bands in that style shift away from it (similarly, see "psych-pop" and Of Montreal).

Seriously, is it that hard to say "feelings"?

As already said, the ending to Fracas is unnecessarily mean-spirited. When our main characters are shown to be constantly struggling with money, it's not funny to have them cheated out of what would be a substantial windfall by a well-off bully.

Funny that that New Pornographers article went up today, too, as I've now spent time talking about three of my favorite albums of the 2000s over the last 24 hours.

I won't dispute that, but I will say that to become not just an ass, but the kind of ass with the power to cause wholesale destruction of ordinary people's lives, like he seems determined to do, does take a lot of work.

Is Mario Wienerroither like an evil alter ego of Nathanial Hornblower?

I think they only had one good album in them, is what happened.
