Those people are the worst. I got in an argument with someone using that same line of reasoning to defend Steve Scalise, of all people. "Innocent until proven guilty" doesn't mean someone actually didn't do it if the courts find them not guilty, nor does it prohibit me from making up my own mind with the evidence

You keep using this word "jabroni"… and it's AWESOME.

Yeah, on dead-ball fouls like false starts. Hence why I said "during a play."

And yet, the Americans who actually kill people for believing/thinking differently are almost uniformly white conservatives.

Do you think they DON'T consult on every flag thrown during a play? Because they do.

I think you mean "I didn't drop out of high school and then drop out of college and then get a bunch of honorary doctorates at Rape School to be called 'Bill.'"

The only thing I know about Kelly Willis is that she covered Big Star's "When My Baby's Beside Me" for some compilation.

The ref should then have said "look, this is a subjective penalty call
to begin with, so you'd better be a million billion percent sure that
the first call was wrong because otherwise we're all going to look like
clowns not to mention compromise the game itself."

In a word… yes.

Apparently David Berman's father is one of the more evil lobbyists working in America today. I read an article about it and everything! #themoreyouknow

Rodgers at less than 100% got his ass kicked by New Orleans. It's not some given thing that less-than-healthy Rodgers can still light up the league.

You keep calling it a "procedural error" like they made two mistakes on the play. It's not like they changed the call to get it wrong on purpose. It's better to call what they think is the correct call, no matter how they go about it, than it is to let a wrong call sit because of "procedure."

"Look, murder ain't no thing, String, but this here, this some assassination shit."

Plus that episode where Stan and Francine accidentally turned him into an old man.

I think Veruca Salt's fate in the book is different, but it's been so long I can't remember it exactly. Like, she gets carried away by a bunch of squirrels or something. Wait, that sounds crazy.

Well, Detroit had probably one of the three best defenses in the league this season. I thought Dallas looked okay considering what they were up against (although that first half was a little rough).

I think Dallas has a chance; Aaron Rodgers is playing hurt and the Packers defense isn't anything special. Slowing down the Green Bay offense is another story, but that all rests on Rodgers' shoulders.

Whether the call had been announced or not should have nothing to do with it. The refs should go with what is most likely the correct call.

Selective memory.

speaking of Bloom County, they ran a storyline with a similar plot— "One of our members of the boy's club is actually female!" I suspect it was around the time the story came out about Spuds MacKenzie (who I believe made an appearance in Bloom County as well).
