"Planes" is a spin-off of a PIXAR movie, but isn't PIXAR.

I loved "Rataouille" a lot, but I was in my 30s when I saw it.  I really couldn't imagine liking it as a kid.   I think I would have found it boring.

Didn't love "Toy Story" but "Toy Story 2" is one of the greatest animated films of all time.  Really, it's that good.  That and "WALL-E" have been PIXAR's best work.

I know him because he was namechecked in "Weird Al" Yankovic's opus "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota."

"Can You Read my Mind" would have worked as a montage if someone was singing it (say, Maureen McGovern).  But it's just weird having Margot Kidder recite it.   That said, that flying date scene is amazing.  

Thank you, Christopher Nolan, for taking the fun out of superhero movies.  You're an amazing filmmaker, and your dark, humorless tone is tailor made for a subject as somber as Superman.

Uggh.  What is it with you, America?!   Will you see any old movie regardless of quality just because Ethan Hawke is in it?   It's been nearly thirty years since "Explorers" and he's STILL box office gold.   You know, there are other movie stars out there besides him and Matthew Modine.  Why don't you be more…

1)  I thought "Kinky Boots" was fun, but preferred "Le Cage" and "Priscilla", when it comes to, you know, that kind of show.
