I saw The Goonies when it was released when I was 8.   So target demo then and now.   I didn't love it then and I still can't convince myself it's a great movie.   Doesn't help that it came out around the same time as another Amblin film, "Back to the Future", which was a masterpiece of storytelling.

Sound was great, but it looked a little blurry in places.   Like watching an image on a projection screen that was just projected a bit too large.

Let us know when you show "The Deer Hunter."

What is it about Nuking the Fridge that got everyone so up in arms?   There were ridiculous 'how'd he survive that?!' scenes in all of the Indy movies.   Heck, "Crystal Skull" had an even more ludicrous scene where the Jones family survives going over three large waterfalls in an open boat.

Don't forget "King of Spain."

You recognize "Constant Craving", but it's not on this list.

Of all the songs listed here, maybe three at most could qualify as minor "hits."

I remember being shocked by those linear notes.   If memory serves, it was written as a timeline between when the first song was recorded and when the album was released (in 1986).   Back then, when I was a kid, six years seemed like ages, so when I saw that "Amanda" was recorded in 1980, I was gobsmacked.  Might as

Even at Lincoln Square, it would probably be projected digitally, and not take up the entire screen (IMAX DMR preserves aspect ratios).  So it really doesn't matter where you see this.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark" sounded incredible in IMAX (well, Fake IMAX, but good enough), but the image quality was kind-of meh.    To my eyes, there's still a gulf between digital and film, and it looked like I was watching the film on someone's incredible projection screen.
