Frightened. Frightened Inmate #2.

If only there were some way to find out.

How is it bad timing? And for which party? The reason he's doing press is because of the movie. (And what other press would they do with him soon anyway? It's pretty unusual for them to do more than one interview with an actor within the space of at least a year.)

"All of us are all kind of making up the parts of a whole man. Iā€™m the greed, Rob Lowe is the medicine, Thomas Jane is the art, and Christian McKay is the feminine side."

That's spelled "taxis." But I think they'd still have to pay taxes on those.

Agreed on all counts. I guess I can see not caring for the songs (although personally I think they're pretty fucking solid, to a one), but they sure as hell don't merit the intense negativity all over this comments section.

Are you joking? They don't make music in that fancy "stereo" sound where you live?

I wonder why the world fell in love with the way she fell in love with herself (he wrote in a comments section on the internet, those near-ubiquitous places where everybody now gets to share their thoughts, however consequential or inconsequential they may be, in front of everybody else).

@avclub-af1aab8e1492ed8a46ba456e2c74e915:disqus: Seriously, Two Boots blows. Pricey and pretentious and meager. I'd still eat it in a pinch, but given the choice I'll take Ray's instead any day.

I haven't read it either, but it'd be a shame if you let that stop you from reading him entirely.

Oh, man: vlet, from TRITON, by Samuel R. Delany.

I've actually only had American poutine, with good American fries, so I guess I'm more giving them props for the concept than saying I would specifically travel to Canada for poutine. I maintain that, while shoddy execution is possible, the concept is genius.

Many good suggestions here (I'd maybe try 36 Chambers ā€” which is the subtitle, incidentally; "Enter the Wu-Tang" is what you're looking for ā€” before Liquid Swords), and you might also check out Jay-Z's debut, Reasonable Doubt.

Whoa, hey, poutine is genius. Combining french fries and cheese and gravy covers a lot of other sins.

Let me just cirsunvent you.

Man, we always watched Star Wars by default on Thanksgiving, because CBS (I'm pretty sure it was CBS) seemed to show it every year that day. Am I crazy or does anyone else remember this?

WHOA. BLOWING LOADS???!?

Yes, the teens of that day and age had never been exposed to anything like it, except for, like, "Under the Bridge" and "Closer" and numerous other songs, some of which weren't as explicit as "Semi-Charmed Life" but do have the benefit of being intelligible.

It's pretty easy to miss those lyrics even if you've heard the song a dozen times, since it's not exactly a tune that signals to the listener that they ought to turn their brain on and pay close attention.
