I can only imagine Sasheer Zamata is being kept on because her hiring was a big deal and it would be a bad look to let her go. I don't even know if she's any good or not because she has so little to do. I mean, not like Brooks Wheelan levels of nothingness, but not much.

Yeah, I thought Jay and Taran were both extremely talented and headed for big things but it never really clicked with either of them. Taran in particular seemed like he had everything you'd need from a performance standpoint to be a big SNL star but he was never able to transcend the inconsistent writing. He was

"Heavily theorized plot points can often land with a thud when they're eventually revealed"

Heh. That baby's wearing a suit.

The jump from Renata and Jane talking about who could be bullying Amabella to Celeste inspecting one of her twins' teeth almost feels like confirmation that one of the twins is the bully unless the show is deliberately trying to trick us.

Considering his house and the fact that he seems to spend all day hanging out and cooking, Ed must be one helluva web designer.

I don't really know either, but I don't think Ziggy is necessarily a full blown sociopath. More likely I think he may just be hiding some rage from something we don't yet know about.

So was Alexander Skarsgard simply putting on an act in front of the marriage counselor last week? He seemed genuine but I think he's simply a very convincing sociopath - which makes him all the more dangerous and intimidating.

Personally I didn't care for it, but it was inarguably well-received and huge success. But that was also really what cemented her as an A-lister 5 years ago, and since then she hasn't really made much of anything worthwhile.

She's been in a number of good movies in a supporting role - the ones you mentioned and also 50/50, End of Watch, and Drinking Buddies. But the movies in which she is the lead are pretty bleak. I should say that I didn't care for Pitch Perfect so I count it among her bad movies, though I understand a lot of people

Rule of thumb: If Anna Kendrick is starring in it, there's a pretty good chance it's bad.

"The Kings of Summer" is the worst offender I can think of as far as the "let's get a funny person to just kind of improv some funny stuff here" brand of comedy filmmaking. I lost count of how many recognizable comedic actors show up, do something weird/kooky while having no effect on the story, then disappear. Boy

Couldn't the private investigator just take footage of Will Smith talking to anyone and doctor it to look like he's talking to himself? Why do they need the actors?

I didn't watch this show, but based on the banner image I think one of their issues may have been casting Bam Margera as Marco Polo.

The first one was essentially about some DVD players stolen off a truck.

I can't honestly say I wouldn't turn my back on my family for Charlize Theron. My one stipulation would be that she couldn't keep that hairstyle though.

I've never been a big fan of Leslie Jones but her Weekend Update bit got some big laughs out of me.
"And to quote Maya Angelou: 'No matter the size in between your thighs you can still rise".

Dito Montiel must be a delight to work with because I don't know how else he keeps attracting big name actors for his movies. A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints was good, but everything after that has been mediocre to aggressively bad. Son of No One was one of the most baffling movies I've ever seen.

Part of the reason I loved The Life of Pablo was because the album itself kind of felt like a manic episode. The way it jumped around stylistically and had no real overarching theme or message, the whole thing was disorganized and sloppy yet it was also brilliant, raw, and exhilarating to listen to. This kind of adds

Kristen Wiig is an extremely gifted performer whom I just don't find funny.
