Relative to the other leads, Zosia Mamet is in a lot of things.
I also think that the advice to experience all that the world has to offer may be lingering in her head when she finds out that she's pregnant. After all, that's an experience too.
In her defense, it didn't really matter what she said; Desi and the counselor were really not having any of it from her.
I've seen my share of mania and cocaine use and Jessa seems like she could be experiencing either or both. The grandiosity is what made me lean towards mania more than cocaine, though.

In retrospect, The AV Club sure looks dumb to have a two episode/one week gap in coverage for season five in the middle of the season.
I kind of appreciated that they only used her for the open and in the runner for once. It gave a lot of people extra screen time. Even if the episode didn't come out great, it wasn't really due to lack of McKinnon; the writing was just not very good this week.
