(Beyond the fact that Lily Rabe has gorgeous eyes)

Also: Sarah Paulson's contacts are so distracting. If Lily Rabe is going to have less screen time, why not make her wear brown ones?

That felt remarkably restrained and cohesive by AHS's usual standards. I'm sure it's going to take a half dozen hard left turns soon, but that was a tight, taut episode.

I was expecting a smash cut to the handcuff being clipped in half with bolt cutters or something equally nonviolent that resulted in Darius having a really dumbass bracelet for the rest of the episode.

Jumping in blind here

I see that Vice Principals was listed under regular coverage, and yet no one covered it.

Great podcast. Everyone from the AV Club should really be aware of it and listen to it.

As someone who does not watch Game of Thrones, Alfie Allen will forever be Lily's wanker of a little brother.

Is there a deadline? Can I make selections this week at some point?

You're cutting two out of every three TV Club shows but you can afford to pay a bunch of shitbags to write about what Diary Queen Blizzard is the best or what fast food items are the tastiest?

Surprised at the lack of double review for the pair of episodes, but enthused by everything so far.

As someone who is almost always watching from behind, yes. yes yes. It's the dumbest fucking thing that has happened on this site in ages - which is saying something. Just make the pages the series name and the episode title again.

The unhinged mania that Jimmi Simpson is bringing to this show is the primary reason I haven't cut bait on it yet.

I think you mean all of The Newsroom

Man the characters on this are paper thin.

Paco's facial prosthesis/makeup is kind of distracting.

This first episode pales deeply in comparison to Fire in the Hole, to be perfectly honest.
