Yeah, I think it was clear that the environment was fucking with him. You could lights out with any crowd or with any normal interaction where you're not beholden to a person, but someone putting you on the spot with such a specific (to them) but unclear (to you) expectation can still be a motherfucker.

One interesting moment for me was getting a little crack in the Todd Barry persona, when he says "I was kidding" right before Norton says "I wasn't." Seemed sincere and a little upset. It's not a lot but pretty big in Todd Barry terms. When does that guy ever break?
