I don't mind restrained, or limited, at all. Most the bands I listen to are garage-rock or punk-related. Somehow the guitar just sounds extra dopey on "Hold On." Like dude really wanted a "sweet riff" but just couldn't pull it off.

… except that for every band that sounds better live there is a band (or two) that sounds better on record. It sorta depends on the type of music being played blah blah everyone get back to work.
