One thing I noticed in one of the articles I linked was there were six planned movies. Sometime later it became eight. Reading your wiki article, man they really went crazy with Columbo TV movies. 14 of those and they went into 2003.

I thought Angel got his nickname from his Mother, like "he's my little angel"; but shockingly it's revealed Angel was a nickname from all the other inmates because of how often he was on his knees praying for the hardcases not to kill him.

I feel like I should have had a Dos Equis watching this in honor of Goldsmith. For whatever reason (were they sourced from film instead of videotape?) these Mannix episodes on youtube are excellent quality transfers, better than the Rockford movies.

Okay, so movies #2 and #8 (Blessing and Bleeds It Leads) for Friday. You'll notice the movie DVDs are bare bones, miss of an opportunity for some nice supplementals IMO. You watched the season episodes all on DVD sets? Were any decent with extras?
