You know, I was wondering why he didn't give it a D, then thinking how the D is almost never used in the AVC.  And then I noticed the grade the episode on whose board I've been commenting all summer got…..

I wish they had just committed to the bizarreness a little more.  As it was, it felt like an improv scene that everyone knows is bombing so they just it spiral into alien abduction-land to try to get a laugh and get out instead of a scene that purposely heightens into the bizarre.

The best part of it to me was the bored/defeated silences in between promos. I'm a sucker for actors just shutting up and letting a silence be funny every once in awhile.  Funny names are a pretty exhausted premise.
