I was watching Home Economics the other day and got freshly mad about S4 (although I'm still blissfully oblivious to anything that actually happened in S4 and will remain so unless I get suckered into watching it in syndication) because I was just so annoyed that we'll never get to see the purely-Harmon version of

Truly shocking he hasn't found the girl of his dreams yet…

@LPH.  I don't know.  Around here I feel like I always hear it disparaged in relation to seasons 2 and 3. Maybe I'm just remembering wrong so that I can be a 30 Rock Season 1 hipster….

I think I'm the only person who loves the first season of 30 Rock, almost more than any other, pilot and all.  It evolved, but I think it was pretty clear what it was from the start.

I recently started having practice with another independent improv team that met on Tuesday nights, so I was like "Nooooooooo!"  But then, this afternoon, we decided to move practice to Sunday nights, so then I was like "Yay! (IDNOT)"  But now I realized Debate 109 is on at 9:30, so now I'm like "Man is a collection

Soooo….Brooklyn Nine-Nine seems really tonally weird to me.  Like, it's basically in a grounded, realistic world, but the characters do these wacky things (the "about the author" bit, some of the stuff around the drug bust) that are just obviously thrown in for laughs, without being either justified or called out as

Neither St. Louis nor Chicago's affiliates do that, but Nashville's used to and it bugged me.  Non-music programming 4 lyfe!

Think we'll still be camped here for 55555?

Such an underrated movie.

Seems like the he's the kind of guy who might aggravate his superior's sciatica…

I have to say, I think they made a nice choice with the flashforwards, so we get the satisfaction of seeing them interacting while still sticking to the wedding weekend story structure.

BREAKING NEWS: I am the last person in the world to realize that Will Forte played two different characters on 30 Rock.  (I realized this only when I saw he was nominated for his role and for just a split-second thought it was for his one-shot as Pee Wee Herman's  assistant/supplicant/whatever in that one

I guess we can look forward to 8 seasons of Screeching With Swivel Chairs per year now that it's Emmy-winning *gags*

Unfortunately, she'll have to settle for going through TGIFridays as each of her different personas for 7 free birthday desserts….that's approximately as satisfying as an Emmy.

Hopefully he'll get other chances.  :(

Nurse Jackie is still on? (I literally thought I'd clicked on an old list of winners or something). Useless as it is to pay attention to the Emmys, shame Jane Krakowski never won one.

That's why I couldn't make it through an entire episode of The Bridge. I know that heroine is supposed to be somewhere on the autism spectrum, so in theory it's different, but in practice it felt exactly the same.

I think the scariest thing will be during the implementation phase.  I think, when it REALLY comes down to it, none of us really trust a computer to drive us.  I suspect the initial phase will have a way for humans to override the computer.  And I suspect we often will, even when the computer might have been
