The hidden health dangers of improv?

It will!  By day, Kat McPhee is a mild-mannered, if slightly wooden, musical theatre actress.  But at exactly 8:30 pm, she turns into a crazed lunatic rife with emotions running the gamut from slightly confused to mildly melancholy to happy?…yeah, I think that's supposed to be happy….it's THRILLING!

Yeah.  No doubt that's a string of great episodes, but it's a little on the "Community is all about the spoofs!" train.  Maybe they think that's what'll grab new viewers…which I think is true if someone tunes in randomly for one or two. But that many in a row feels like a lot.

It's the Bruno Mars episode of SNL!  Guess I know where the rest of my night's going…she says, as if she hasn't already been in her PJs since 9 pm….

As is Professor Kane!

Awesome.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'd trade the Edit Stamp of Shame for the return of real-time updating.

I was going to reply something to that effect last night, but now I recognize you were clearly the person who needed to say it.

They just did a segment on Jimmy Fallon where …I don't know exactly because I wasn't paying attention at first, but basically Steve Buscemi came out and said things that people tweeted they wanted him to say.  The one that I looked up just in time to see was "Donde esta la biblioteca?"  Now granted, I guess that could

There was a BrittaBot who had the same one as me, but I haven't seen him/her around lately.  Actually, I felt bad because she had it before me.  But not bad enough to give up the 'bot.

More importantly, what on earth are those parents doing to their children in the poster on page 13?  I smell a sequel for Mr. Cohen!

Also, in assuming that man will be the one driving.

Homestarrunner!  I didn't even know that still existed!!  My husband and I actually still quote the older videos…well, a really odd amount now that I think of it.  I'll have to send this on to him so that he understands why I insist on singing "Todaybor Day is Labor Day" next September

Was wondering about that one: was it a school picture or a (slightly awkward) headshot?  She was a theatre kid.

I've been meaning to watch some Mike Leigh movies—more because of his extensive use of improvisation to create character and sometimes story for his movies—so I'll have to move this one up on the list.

Bonus points (for those who don't like them, anyway): opening credits-free!

…until you love him.  (Well, maybe not him.  But love Vincent Kartheiser for playing him).
