Not airing til after (I'd better be in) bed tonight here. Darn Cubs.
@avclub-4d0669d1c79eb21e516dbf8b5d5f03ad:disqus To your first point: totally fair.
@avclub-a9ba553828f4a0900f6d53a825651453:disqus That's next on my list once I finish OITNB (update: liking it, but think it's a bit overrated). Well, The O.C. and Southland rewatch/fill-in. I'm doing a Ben McKenzie thing.
My only defense for being annoyed is that it's not "indefinitely" in his case. It's very likely 1 more short season. So it doesn't feel the same as someone leaving Law & Order because they don't want to be on L&O for the rest of their careers, which could quite possibly happen. It feels like he didn't care enough…
Heads up, @avclub-a9ba553828f4a0900f6d53a825651453:disqus ! It's The O.C. week over at Vulture!
Downside: This month I have to drive to my rotation. Which means paying for parking in downton Chicago, gas, traffic, not to mention the fact that I hate, HATE driving on both a practical level and on principal.
I don't think I have any TV shows to add, but what a fantastic present! My husband and I did a lot of watching-through series when we were first married (30 Rock, 24, etc) and I loved the simplicity of spending a night in watching an episode and the shared naughtiness of deciding to watch another even though we…
The overabundance of Community reviews? Except for Lloyd et al's work putting together the weekly S3 reviews, we hardly ever talk Community around here anymore!
Pharmacist What.
Yeah, and it occasionally generates its own humor when you realize a response you thought was to one thread turns out to be a to a totally unexpected one. Then again, I've also come close to replying totally inappropriately to something because I had it in the wrong context, so…plus/minus.
Yeah but I can generally figure out which thread they go with and I like seeing what's new. With refreshing, I see new comments have been added, but unless they're new threads at the top, it's not easy to see where. Sometimes, the original post of a thread will be not of interest to me or something I have nothing to…
The lack of real time updating is making it much harder to converse here. Do we know if it's ever returning or is it more interested in its rap career now?
Woo, Anthropology!! (I may be a bit biased. That was my major). That sounds like a fantastic array of courses.
All. the. time. It's really weird as a generic white-bread born/raised in the US girl to start getting the "No, but where are you from?" question all of a sudden.
Also:
That was a particularly fun round of it. I got a kick out of Colin realizing that Jeff knocked the stool out from "under" him and doing the bit with hanging from the light fixture.
Yeah, I'm torn between my improviser brain analyzing how technically terrible the improv on this show is (Finger guns, Wayne Brady?!? FINGER GUNS?!?!) and just enjoying it for the good time that it is. Jeff Davis's presence is going a long way to push me towards the "just enjoy it" side.
And he and Wayne just serenaded two synchronized swimmers doing a routine on dry land. That was one of the weirder things I've seen lately.
