They all look like vertebrae in cross-section to me!  My brain was so much more interesting before med school….

I'm actually having a bit of a hard time understanding him…I didn't get the rain joke at first because I couldn't understand what he was saying and then I was trying to figure out what "funcles" were (fun uncles?) til I realized he was saying "phone calls."  I'm not usually so bad at understanding accents.

He won't know if it's raining!

Definitely a solid list.  My love for Sad Mouse knows no bounds.  Nor does my love for Mike O'Brien now that I know he wrote both that and Puppet Class.  I DO NOT GET Swarovski Crystals.  I mean, it's okay.  But I don't understand the level of love it gets…I'm always pretty done with that gimmick after about 1 minute

SHE'S NOT BRITISH?!?!

It'll get nominated this year.  Calling it now.

Lucky guy!  I've heard it's a tropical paradise.

Ugh, Linda Holmes and her Parks love and Community hate.

Haha.

Ooh—so pro tip on the Book of Mormon day-of tickets thing.  It turns out a friend of mine from improv actually works in that theater and she said they actually do give away a lot of tickets that way—especially on Tuesdays.  So it might be worth a shot when you're in town.  I'm probably going to give it a shot tomorrow

I love how a year or a little more ago it would have driven us crazy not to have a premiere date.  Now I'm just happy to have the show in a recognizable form whenever it comes…

Ooh, thanks for the link!  I shall watch obsessively.

What was with showing part of the Once piece?  I guess they were running long, but it was so weird cutting in in the middle.

Yeah—at least according to an NYT article I read, which I can't find now, which was saying everything interesting in plays was happening off-Broadway.

Honk, honk!

Yeah, the articles I read were lamenting a pretty weak year both for musicals and plays.

Hmm…I was kicking myself for not seeing Kinky Boots in previews in Chicago last fall after all the awards it's been winning but their number just seemed like a less well-choreographed version of that OK Go video with the treadmills.

Sounds about right to me.  Matilda, A Christmas Story, Annie, Pippin, Cinderella, Motown the Musical—I think that's it—have already done their performances, too.  Matilda and Pippin were both pretty fun.  But by far, the tribute to cancelled NBC shows was the best—Megan Hilty and NPH on the same stage satisfied a need

Hehehehe….Tonys number about Broadway stars on canceled TV shows….brought to you by NBC.
