I Will Cotten to Your Joseph

I wore out two videos of The Last Unicorn when I was a kid.  Just read the book two years ago and it is absolutely enchanting.  I wish I had read that as a kid.

The Monster at the End of This Book is the only book all three of us kids had our own copy of.  Because it's just that awesome.

You're doing God's work, @avclub-45d2c6868b544067879a7f6b7f327c86:disqus.

S3, in general, focused too much on Lee and Starbuck and their lurve.  The boxing episode is the worst offender to me in this respect.

Agreed.  I saw an interview with Scorsese where he said as much.

God, I hate that damn boxing episode.

One of my chief weapons is stealth.

That is a great guilty pleasure.  I'm a Joseph Cotten superfan, and I will watch him anything.  But this is the only movie that makes me drool over him.

It was great fun.  Agreed they should have done a fade to black with that music.  God, that music over the "To be continued…" is killer.

Dorn is totally a guy you'd want to get a beer with.

Because blue guy with a ridge down his face is far less silly.  Ha!

@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus said, "Duncan Reghr has been in stuff even stupider than "The Begotten" subplot."

I quite like the B-plot of "The Begotten."  O'Brien sells the hell out of it with that damn gong.

You only need a remote control with three buttons to replace someone's brain.  They can't possibly be that difficult to fix.

@avclub-79557cb93066f4470b8cee6e9110f757:disqus, they prefer the term "amusement center" in the 24th century.

Didn't Kirk get laid in "Wink of an Eye?"

I understand the former reason in a business sense, but the latter is unfortunate.  I don't find Locarno totally unsympathetic, and it would have been interesting to catch up with him a few years after the fact, after he grew up a bit and put the events of "The First Duty" into perspective.

I dunno.  I am pretty deeply offended by Risa, and I was only subjected to it in 45 minute chunks (if that)!

I agree they're both assholes here.  But I feel the writers are trying desperately to get me to side with Dax and think she's 100% correct in this episode.

That may be the first fanfic I'd be tempted to read.
