I do like how they name-drop the Tholians, though.

While I'm not a fan of the clothing in this episode, I don't think it's totally off base in what would perhaps be fashionable about 10 years from now.

I agreed with you last week, @avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus, and I agree with you again. The actual Bell is really just a cipher here.

Also, it just oversimplifies the issue. I know people think this episode is especially prescient in today's society, but I can't totally agree on that. The Sanctuary citizens all want jobs! All they want is to work! They don't want to be wards of the state! I would argue that may be true of some people today, but…

@avclub-92a4841c9f86965effbc29fa6eae9f77:disqus, I read Trek books after I'm finished reading a somewhat heavy or formidable tome. I find it's good brain candy after spending a lot of energy on something more "scholarly."

I would honestly rather watch "Sub Rosa" than, oh, I don't know, "Lonely Among Us." The former is so bad it amuses me to some degree. The latter…I couldn't even tell you what the hell happened. It's that forgettable to me.

Oh God. I love Star Trek VI, but that dainty little teacup has pissed me off for years.
