They aren't acclaimed enough IMO

I actually kind of liked last week's episode. It's at least a major improvement on "Tom, Sarah, and Usher", one of the biggest duds from the previous seasons, and had a better foil for Tom. And Nicki Minaj totally is a robot sent to kill other R&B artists.

Now, I've always taken Veep as a warped take on the West Wing model, where the staff we're viewing the lives of are people who mean well, yet have their own idiosyncrasies. In this case, we see more of the bad than the good, but most everyone who isn't Jonah means well.

The show hits SUCH a high note with the last couple of season 1 episodes, and hasn't let go since.
