The general consensus for season 6 is that Zoey is one of the worst things to ever happen to the show. While I can't argue that she was a weak character, I never found the season to be nearly as bad as other people do, since almost everything else is on point that year.

The later seasons may not be as consistent, but I don't see how they're any worse than the later seasons of Friends or The Office or M*A*S*H or a dozen other sitcoms I could name
