I don't think this was as strong as the past two episodes, if only because it just wasn't that funny, but this was emotionally strong regardless.

Little scenes like this where we're reminding that Lisa is still an 8-year-old girl are severely overlooked. I love social justice and philosophical Lisa as much as the next guy, but c'mon, she's still a little girl.

I thought Gene Simmons invented Pogs.

They're both fantastic.

Well he did lead Tom onto discovering Duke Silver, so there's that

Well Rob Lowe never stays on a show longer than 4 seasons, so

Yeah, she was in the one when they surprised Benton with the belly dancers for his birthday. I don't think she was one of them, though.

Don't forget Ving Rhames!

Yep! It's a fascinating story.

"The Body" also aired in 2001.

ER is my mom's favorite show, and with this, not to mention its legacy, I decided to take up an offer to get the first 2 seasons for cheap last summer, and marathoned them fast. Damn, the first season of the show is one of the best premiere seasons of any show, period. it's crazy to see how quickly everyone fell into

The camera talking trend is well past its expiration date.

Well I would say that today is a Golden Age, if only because it's far easier to receive access to the vast majority of great shows out there. You don't have to scramble to find repeats or hope for new syndication deals to be able to watch something you've heard is great or rediscover an old favorite- between DVDs,

Barney Miller is fantastic from what I've seen as well. I just need convincing to go and buy that complete series set.

I had a conversation with a friend, who's an even bigger taxi fan than I am, about which episode would be a good introduction for newbies into the show. This came to us after I had her listen to the Extra Hot Great Canon's podcast entry for "The Wedding of Latka and Simka", a fine episode which just isn't fit for

Taxi and ER discussion from AV Club? I love today.

You know kindergarten but not lebenslangerschicksalsschatz? You are very difficult.!

Louis is her beinaheleidenschaftsgegenstand. Ted is her lebenslangerschicksalsschatz.

One thing I see in the comment is people saying that the format of this episode is like that of a clip show. I see it as more of a Forrest Gump tribute than anything, the way the Mother was edited in. While I'm more on the minority side when it comes to Gump, there's nothing wrong with that at all.

I don't think Mitch is that smart.
