Aww man, no mention of season 6 of HIMYM. I'll admit that the show has made some mistakes in the past few years, but after 5's lack of overlapping storylines and  pacing issues, 6 sure holds up closer to the show's early run, while 7 and 8 still have plenty of good episodes themselves.

Thoughts on Malcolm McDowell? I thought his character and performance were incredibly flat, but I think that's what the writers are aiming for with him, to be a stoic, no-nonsense professor who can barely handle the 7. Which is fine, but hey, it's Malcolm McDowell. He has full rights to ham it up a little.

Oh yeah. Their 70's stuff is gold all the way through, really. While Katy Lied might just be my favorite album, "Deacon Blues" gets my vote for their best song.

I do agree with you for the most part. This idea worked, but as strong as NPH was as usual, the execution could have been stronger and done in a different way.

Considering how much I hate it when 2 Broke Girls uses the word "vagina" as a crutch, I'm surprised that I found Ted and Barney's frequent referrals to saying "penis" as funny as I did.

I called Barney having another Playbook a while ago, yet I'm still not too bugged with the idea, or even the fact that Barney lied to Robin. As far as the character has come since the show's beginning, even at the show's best, he still has been shown to be a child at heart, which would explain his consistent…

Oh, and I do wish you guys had reviewed Green Lantern when it still had a future. I really enjoy the show and it sucks to see it so under appreciated.

I can't reply to Deaf Ears, but looking it up, Beyonce and Jay-Z got married in April 2008, while Single Ladies came out later that year. I thought they got married earlier, but I thought wrong.
