Kurt Angle was a jacked dork.

Dude it's awesome, you won't regret it. Hell I'm off of NXT too, it's just SmackDown Live and Lucha Underground for me.

This may genuinely be worse than Del Rio's run with it. At least him winning the title off of Cena was a big moment for a lot of people, and they tried to use him to make a star out of Kalisto.

I hate to be a cynical asshole (well not really), but it almost seems like Raw realised the Braun rivalry was doing a really good job at getting Sami over as a babyface, so they immediately switched Braun over to someone who they actually want to be a top babyface.

If Titus wins his inevitable match with Big E next week, it will confirm my suspicions that New Day getting stuck in this Titus program is a punishment for Big E's joke about Charlotte a few weeks back. Why else would Raw be doing this with them, especially when their main event scene DESPERATELY needs some fresh

I'm going off of Dave Meltzer here, the most respected journalist in wrestling. But thanks for immediately assuming that I'm full of it.

SmackDown is super good right now with Ward as the head writer. And NXT has gotten noticeably worse since he left. Don't think that's a coincidence.

It could have been helped on SmackDown. The one part of the draft where they made off better than Raw was the tag division, they snagged like half a dozen pre-made tag teams. If they'd established that those teams were all on a fairly even playing field, they could have turned the tag division into a new SmackDown Six

It's a real shame too, Breezango were one of the heel teams who didn't feel completely jobbed out yet. They had a competitive match with Alpha in the inaugural tournament, they beat the Hype Bros in the tag turmoil match, and Breeze was in the final three of the tag contender's battle royale.

Word is and always has been that Vince still has the final say on both shows. So the SmackDown team either have better ideas than Raw, are better at pitching Vince their ideas than Raw, or aren't held to the same scrutiny because Vince sees them as the B-show.

Can we take a moment to appreciate that SmackDown currently has THREE women's storylines going on in Becky/Bliss/Luchadora, Natalya/Nikki and Carmellsworth. Hell, you could even bump that up to four if you include all the Miz/Dean/Maryse/Renee stuff. Pretty impressive considering Raw often struggles to do more than

Charlotte also defended against Sasha and Bayley at Clash of Champions.

Kevin and Jericho mending their friendship, making compromises to their egos, hugging it out, and they're the bad guys?

I'm still salty we didn't get the Sienna/Vanguard 1 match we've all been waiting for.

This is the first Raw I've watched in a while and I gotta say, I kind of thought it was a garbage fire. The sensitivity training segment was so misguided that it managed to get me to side with Jinder freaking Mahal over Enzo. Someone backstage clearly told Bayley to be more "fun" in the ring, so now she's high-fiving

Turn AJ face and you've got 3-5 credible opponents in The Wyatts, Miz and Corbin right there.

That wouldn't solve anything, just adds to the glut of SmackDown heels.

Putting all problems with the battle royal aside, I have to say that match did more to legitimise Breezango and The Ascension than anything else since the split. Another strong showing from Heath too, I really hope Dean doesn't take the IC belt from Miz because a program with Slater would be absolutely delightful.

Man even as someone who does think the Vaudevillains are underutilised and quite talented in the ring, the idea that you would even compare them to Sami is laughable. Dude is one of the best wrestlers on the planet.

They were on Talking Smack, one of the Uces has an ankle injury but they said they'd be back next week.
