Raises the question of whether that revelation really adds anything. I liked that book as a 15 year old pussy - ie, the target audience - but even then I thought that some was just transparent button-pushing, whether it was well handled (the trip to the abortion clinic) or not (the molestation).

Bill Paxton is consistently the worst thing about aliens. I realize he has many of the iconic lines, but they're iconic because his braying hillbilly shriek burrows into your head and stays there. He's like the Ke$ha of that movie.
