It's not just the theme, it's the whole format that got repetitive, not to mention they made the same jokes over and over.

I agree, I can't see how this will be good for the AV Club. Even though I rarely comment, I always loved the sense of anarchy here, and always admired how it even with anonymous posters the comments are still, for the most, the funniest and smartest on the internet.
