Any thoughts on whether more help from the DCCC would have made a difference? I gather that lack of assistance from the party leaders is a long-standing complaint with Dems in red areas (although from what I see on Twitter the DCCC is apparently run with less sophistication than your average lemonade stand, so YMMV as

His ratings are up, though, and his book debuted at #1 on the NYT best seller list. He'll either get new advertisers, or some of the old ones will come crawling back when they think no one's looking. I personally don't think they'll get rid of him so long as he makes them more money than he costs them. I'd be happy to

CNN will go after him for sure. Zucker has no soul and cares only for ratings.

You are all forgetting the ridiculous non-plot-related fashion show that is "Beautiful Girl."

Well, first of all, my understanding is that Asia Dillon identifies as non-binary, not trans. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've seen from their public statements.) As I understand it, the two are not necessarily synonymous. (Again, correct me if I'm wrong here.)

That was a great story. I want to high-five all those students.

I've been wanting to read that series, but I'm not subscribing to the LA Times to do so. Do you know how many free articles one gets?

Thank you. I remember the same thing happening in the first season of The Wire, with that woman Wee Bey shot and D'Angelo took the credit for. The characters could never decide what her name was. Distracting. Just pick one!

People are giving you a hard time in this thread but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that this was a genuine question.

Gender-neutral third person pronouns.

I would pay good money to see Barack and Michelle act out that little scene.

Exactly, that's why celebrities sue UK tabloids and not US ones - they have next to no chance of winning those cases in US courts.

The article is using "White House" as a synonym for "administration." This is common usage in journalism. Not really sure why you're having a problem with it.
