Love this film. Old enough to have seen it in theatres. Lucky enough to have seen the Reitman Live Read at TIFF two years ago, with Patrick Stewart, Donald Glover, Rob Reiner and Cary Elwes. Will now probably watch it this afternoon.

Rightly so.

They always reminded me of Fiona Apple's "Criminal" video, only with at least 65% more creep factor.

Terry Richardson fell? He's still getting plenty of work, last I heard.

I remember when that "we only sell to hot people" thing happened, someone pointed out that the CEO looked like Gary Busey went bobbing for apples in a sink full of bees. It was such a gorgeously apt description that I've never forgotten it.

I genuinely thought that's who this story was about.

How good is your Glynis Johns impression? You could still sing!

I only saw a regional small-theatre performance of it, so maybe the original Broadway spectacle had more to offer. But genuine question: how so?

Exactly.

And again, I'm not tying ALL the Dems' problems to the Bros. My original point, which was made to someone who isn't you, is that there's a disturbing similarity between "The election's over, we won" and "It's your fault for not running a better candidate." In other words "Too bad, so sad." Well, *that* kind of

We started out talking about people who are re-litigating the election vs those who are focusing on what's immediately in front of them. Thank you for proving my point.

"Jimmy James" by the Beasties.

I hated him before it was cool, man.

First one that was ever given to me: Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual. First one I bought myself: Corey Hart's Boy In the Box. Oldest one I owned that I still listen to: Paul Simon's Graceland.

Good luck with your family situation. Having had (more distant) family members hospitalized myself, I know how rough that is. Good on you for keeping your chin up.

Based on all the ones I follow on social media who have moved past it and are actually focused on what's happening now to your godforsaken country. (All of whom are in "the media," by the way.) Based on how the press that wrote endlessly about her email server are finally paying at least some real attention to Trump

It was only a few days ago that I heard he had it. It does really sound like a living hell. R.I.P.

That's right, glad you've grasped my point.

I'm not American, and if I didn't share a border and a tightly integrated economy with you maniacs, I'd be laughing my ass off at all of you. As it is, I have enough compassion in my heart to hope for the sake of the Trumpanistas and the Bros that "ill-informed self-saboteur" and "self-righteous twat," respectively,

It's funny how Trump voters and Bernie Bros are the ones endlessly re-litigating the election even now. Hillary supporters had their month of mourning, but now they're thinking about how what happened will affect America going forward. It's mildly pathetic that the Trumpsters' "We won, get over it!" is so loudly
