The Descendents are working on a new album

I thought "Poltrygeist" was pretty great. Also, I really liked "Terror Firmer".

The original Black Christmas is fantastic.  The remake is garbage.

Agreed.  I was obsessed with that album when I first heard it (which was like a year after it came out).  It's still one of my favorites.

The picture at the top led me to believe that the Sloppy Seconds' "Come Back, Traci" would have been included in this list.

One of the guys did survive and his face was totally fucked up. He ended up dying a while later. I heard I was from an overdose of painkillers.

We watched this in my Future Studies class in high school.  It was made all the more entertaining by the fact that one kid had one of those watches that could control VCRs.  He'd randomly stop, rewind, and fast forward the movie, which confused the hell out of our teacher, who was a completely brain-fried former hippy

Greg and Raymond haven't spoken since the mid '80s after they had a falling out over SST's treatment of Raymond's art.

Black Flag was pissed that Keith would slag them in the local press and then play their old songs, and that "someone" (the band blamed Keith, Keith blamed Roger Rogerson) was going around spray painting the Circle Jerks name over Black Flag graffiti.  The Circle Jerks ended up recording "I Don't Care", which was an

pointless interjection, Ian doesn't say "I" in the original version of "Out Of Step" (from the "In My Eyes" EP) but he does say it on the version of the "Out Of Step" LP at the insistence of Jeff Nelson, who, like a lot of people, felt the original version sounded more like orders than Ian's personal views (Ian felt

Different quirky things.

According to Spot, Damaged sounds exactly the way the band wanted it to sound.  It actually doesn't sound too far off from the live stuff I've heard from that era, so there's probably a lot truth to that.  Also, the records didn't sound any better when Greg took over production.

Not enough love for Saint Vitus!  Those were some great records and SST has finally put all of them back in print.

Ben Weasel wrote that letter that's printed in the Master-Dik.  As I recall, he said something about how Sonic Youth and Husker Du would be the Yes and REO Speedwagon of the '90s.

As I recall, Bob Mould has written off ever trying to get paid by SST because of the bickering between the band members.
