Saw Taxi Driver for the first time.  There were some absolutely great sequences, and I really dig the 70s New Cinema aesthetic.  Travis Bickle is so obviously an inspiration for so many cinema anti-heroes after him, with Tyler Durden being perhaps the most obvious.  With that said, I couldn't help but shake the

No more antiheroes!  We're all full up!

I think The Newsroom is terrible, but I kind of felt this way about the reviews of House of Cards, most of which boiled down to "ugh this political stuff is so boring"

Hasn't TNA been about to collapse for the entirety of its existence?

ROH hasn't been good since like 2006 man.

And now for the Canadian version, What's On Tonight, Eh?!

This sounds like every Friends-a-like CBS has greenlit in the last 5 years, but with more alt-comics.

It's the watch-and-sniff event of the year!

Kids' TV scheduling is usually pretty erratic.  The assumption is that kids don't really care if it's a re-run or a new episode, and from what I remember from my childhood that's semi-accurate.
