I know, I know, 10 year run, it could have ended a year or two earlier without much changing about the show's accomplishments besides the number of episodes, but they pulled the plug on a show that could've run for another year or two at diminished capacity for The Cleveland Show, a show that manages to make Family

Anne Dudek would have been a fantastic Pam.

He's got such a nonthreatening, nice voice. At least it's not as annoying as Asif Mandvi shilling for vodka or Zach Braff telling us how puppies love toilet paper

Well guess who would look like an idiot if they let this shit get cancelled
fox
the network that keeps the simpsons on the air and killed king of the hill for the cleveland show, which somehow managed to be worse than family guy
seriously fox

they're comin to get you, you know no neighbors watch fox

Funny episode. They found some clever spins on dick jokes
Nick looked damn fine doing the chain thing, if only they found a way to get his shirt off for that, though I'm sure the episode would be on a drastically different course if there was that much sexy in the hardware store
Problem is this leaves basically where we

Handsome is the key my friend, he's got that handsome to pull down olivia wilde/zooey deschanel tier ass
also with nick miller's diet, job, and probable alcoholism nick spends a LOT of time at the gym to keep that business tight

dude, fiction is something that empowers all of our joy glands, just because we get our fiction through 22 minute funny things isn't so bad
just because shit's commercial subsidized and made by a company run by some extremely evil people doesn't mean it's sad you enjoy the fiction that company put its name and

well this show doesn't just dump characters like that, she still runs the bar, leaving because a hookup went bad doesn't sound like shane from what we know (she is FINE and in charge and went to business school, there are plenty of nick millers in that bar)

I was so sure they were gonna do the punch nick thing but Big Bob actually does work with nick and knows this shit might happen from time to time, Nick is an extremely weird variably stable oddly likeable person, surely he would have a reason for tryna get some butt love

to be fair, go on had most of a season to show signs of not mediocre, generally if a show isn't finding its way in over 15 episodes it's not a safe bet for improvement

and he will put that on hold for a host of different reasons

what kind of shit hookups are you having
angry sex = some of the best sex

Schmidt is kinda racist, he's really the only ethnic humor machine.

if she took that deal it wouldn't even matter if schmidt wanted kids quick

torturey is pretty good too

The Dutch/Claudette show remains pretty separate until Claudette moves on up in the world. The point of pseudo POV shots like that though is to heighten your complicity in the series, increase tension, really get into your face that you are WATCHING this happen, not just seeing it on TV

Gilroy was falling apart at the seams, if he went down without Vic guiding that shit down it would blow up in everyone's face. But yeah Vic makes some real bad choices, early season choices play a bit less logically.

Anthony Anderson is criminally underrated as an actor. The man is fantastic. He goes toe to toe with some incredible actors, Goggins, Whitaker, Close, and he's always fucking selling the hell out of it

It's set like a week before the pilot. That's the problem with it, it goes up to the pilot.
